PLC&現場總線光纖轉換器或稱光纖modem有EOTec 2000和 EOTec 6000兩種結構, EOTec 2000為35mmDIN模塊式結構,由電源模塊 (PSM)、電接口模塊 (EIM) 以及光接口模塊 (OIM) 或和自愈環模(SHR)一起組成一個光節點.所有模塊在35mmDIN導軌道上通過其集成底板方便地聯接組合為轉換器. EOTec 6000采用機架式結構,由機架、電源、電接口卡以及光接口卡或和自愈環卡一起組成.Weed instrument的每個光節點最多可支持5個電或光接口單元.光纖modem實現銅纜到光纖網絡的轉換,支持點到點、鏈型、星形、自愈環及光中繼網絡拓樸結構.
